On my Debian 12 GNOME laptop emulator Google APIs Play Store:

So not because of missing space it seems.

While Internet access is provided via emulated Wi-Fi.

Switching to Update all apps over Wi-Fi or mobile data does not change Manage apps & device, Pending downloads and notifications even if Force stop (and on a second try also Clear cache).

Manual Update all still works fine.

This feature would help persons not comfortable with phones.

-no-snapshot-load for cold reboot does not help.

Maybe it waits an arbitrary time or condition before updating but as it is undocumented, can't verify that the feature even works For instance maybe it waits a few minutes after reboot or screen/session lock or usual not used time during the night.

On a Samsung Galaxy A53 I proceeded to the same tests but still do not notice any ongoing update.

Related to #14.
