Pasting in GIMP works fine, but not Firefox Gitea on my Linux Mint 22.1 Cinnamon Framework 13.

Related to #11.

While we may argue that prefer avoid copying because of the size of files, but here we are talking of a single image which seems quite fine.

Maybe it is also to avoid possibly letting some traces on the file system for privacy, as shred is maybe not perfect.

xclip -selection clipboard -out
trash:///test.txt

DuckDuckGo and Google search Linux terminal in trash.

The Ask Ubuntu answer 327947 solved the issue for the Trash.

For a trash file:

xclip -selection clipboard -t TARGETS -o
Output:
TIMESTAMP
TARGETS
MULTIPLE
SAVE_TARGETS
UTF8_STRING
COMPOUND_TEXT
TEXT
STRING
text/plain;charset=utf-8
text/plain

How to make clipboard prefer image over text? Debatable with LibreOffice Calc. Image for multiple cells for LibreOffice Calc may make sense.
